CLARKS SUMMIT -- Military veterans from throughout northeastern and central Pennsylvania endorsed Congressman Chris Carney (PA-10) for reelection at a campaign event in Clarks Summit on Friday.

More than four dozen veterans gathered to make their endorsement and launch the Veterans for Carney Coalition, citing Congressman Carney's record fighting on behalf of veterans. The Veterans for Carney Coalition includes members from all 14 counties in the District.

CLARKS SUMMIT – Tom Marino, in an interview yesterday, made clear that as a congressman he would cut Social Security to such an extent that those on the cusp of receiving Social Security benefits would get nothing. Asked by WKOK what programs he would cut, Tom Marino, who is 58 years old, answered: "Let me address Social Security. ... My generation and probably the generation that follows me, we are going to have to step up to the plate and say, We are not going to get Social Security."

SUNBURY – Law enforcement officials from throughout the region came together in Sunbury Tuesday to endorse Congressman Chris Carney’s reelection effort, citing his ongoing dedication to police departments, county courthouses and other local law enforcement needs.
